Directions for setting up your Google account:

Google Doc Set Up:

  1. Go to google.com.
  2. Click “create a new account”
  3. Use the same username and password that you have for the school
  4. Click on the gear wheel on the right hand side towards the top.
  5. Then click Settings>>Accounts>>Add another email address you own
  6. Type in your Red Oak email address
  7. Confirm it via your red oak email address.
  8. Click Drive at the top of your Google email account.
  9. Click “Create” on the left side, then click folder.
  10. Title the folder “Language Arts pd#)
  11. Click on your Language Arts folder on the left side under the create button.
  12. Click “Create” on the left side, then click “document”
  13. Title it “Name’s Writer’s Notebook pd#”
  14. Share it with kmangold@roschools.com
  15. Double check to make sure that your Writer’s Notebook is in your LA folder.
